About
Nicholas Gulick (he/him) is a nonprofit development professional and executive coach specializing in strategic leadership, fundraising, and community engagement. He currently serves as the Director of Development for a Nashville-based arts organization. In addition, Nicholas is the principal coach for his consulting firm, where he developed Coaching Your Donors to Give: Relationship-Building Skills for Fundraisers, a program designed to empower fundraisers through coaching techniques. He was recently recognized on a local list of rising leaders for his contributions to community advocacy and leadership.
Nicholas previously managed grant operations at a major performing arts center, supporting diverse programming and educational initiatives. He began his career in retail management with brands like The Body Shop and Sephora before transitioning back into the arts as a corporate and foundation relations specialist for a regional ballet company.
An active community leader, Nicholas is the Immediate Past President of Nashville Pride and an engaged member of Nashville in Harmony, where he served on the board and chaired strategic planning efforts. Nationally, he is involved with the New Harmony Task Force for GALA Choruses and serves on the Professional Education Committee of the Grant Professionals Association.
Nicholas holds an MS in Strategic Communication and Leadership from Belmont University and bachelor’s degrees in music and speech pathology from the University of Tennessee. Guided by core values of love, community, presence, connection, and curiosity, he partners with organizations to unlock their potential and advance their missions.
